Isabella Bruni (b. 2002, Toronto) is an emerging mixed-media artist based in Toronto, Canada. After completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Western University, specializing in studio art, she developed a practice rooted in textiles and unconventional surfaces in painting. Growing up around interior design through her mother's practice, she inherited tools and methods that now inform her approach to painting and making.

Isabella's work brings together still life, figuration, and abstraction, mixing vintage references with contemporary material exploration. Texture and materiality are central—each piece is built through layers that hold both personal and visual history. The work moves between different forms—painting, framing, collage, and printmaking—that focus on material and surface.

Framing is an integral aspect of her practice; by experimenting with display methods that reference historical styles, Isabella examines how presentation shapes meaning. This extends into collaborative projects where form, material, and display converge.

The work stems from an inherited creative practice—one that's been passed down and transformed. Through collaboration and material experimentation, Isabella explores what it means to carry forward artistic traditions while creating something new.

Isabella's work has been exhibited at Toronto galleries including Tarantino Belli and Northern Contemporary, and featured at the Rosedale Art Fair (2024, 2025) and Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (2025). She continues to live and work in Toronto, with work available at Maude&Arte in the city's east end.
