About

Isabella Bruni is an emerging artist from Toronto, Canada. Her practice focuses on exploring various still-life subjects. Often working with mixed media techniques, she plays with varying degrees of abstraction. She creatively repurposes vintage frames and used textiles while incorporating her signature neon underpainting into many of her works. She blends these elements to spark a conversation about materiality and the delicate balance of aesthetics and contrast. Her artistic approach extends to printmaking and textile work, reconstructing frames to integrate them into the art, viewing the entire object, including the frame, as part of the artistic expression.

Isabella graduated from Western University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in studio art. She has since exhibited at Tarantino Belli Gallery, as well as participated in the Rosedale Art Fair (2024, 2025) and the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (2025).
